This project added an addition and sunroom and renovated the existing bathrooms in a traditional gambrel-roofed home. We brought modern spaces into an older house without fighting its character, and the mix of old and new gave the family home, passed down through generations, a second life.

The ensuite sits under a skylight that pulls in daylight while keeping the room private. Light and dark tones play against each other for a moodier feel, with black slate tile running through the shower and a backlit niche that uses every inch.
